Project Introduction: BYD Co., Ltd. is a brand-new privately owned enterprise headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, which was founded in 1995; it has 3 key industrial groups: IT, automotive and new energy.

Due to the shift of manufacturing, new energy, and other industries toward unmanned and automated operation, the question of static electricity control has become a significant concern in the automated and unmanned manufacturing. It is hard to implement the traditional manual supervision of tests such as anti-static and shoe inspections. In May this year, BYD Auto Industry Co., Ltd. installed the anti-static wing gate access control of Shenzhen Ironman Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.

ESD access control system which has a human body static electricity tester, access control devices, and an intelligent manufacturing computerized management software will provide a workable solution in the electrostatic protection zones of intelligent manufacturing. It makes sure that the operators are well grounded against any form of static electricity before accessing the Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA).

The system is very effective in reducing the risks of the static electricity since it is combined with wing gates as pedestrian flow control equipment. It is a common use in the production lines, high-technology research laboratories, pharmaceutical plants, biochemical electrostatic control areas and other places that need anti-static tests and protection.
